Our commitment to health, Mother Earth, the environment, and all living forms have stood strong since our initiation of this farm in 2010.
Data from reliable research is scarce; however, some small studies suggest the nutritional content of eggs from genuine free-range hens (hens that forage daily on a grass range) is superior to that of eggs produced by conventional means. These studies report higher levels of Omega 3 and Vitamins A and E, and lower levels of total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and Omega 6. Source: Wikipedia

Air Quality ... is crucial for any life to flourish!
It is estimated that over 82% of all farms counteract the pure intention of plant and animal growth not to mention human health by ignoring the number one key to health for all living organisms. Air! Polluting the air with engine emissions, farm equipment, and gas powered tools affect the air quality. Our property mandates the use of Lithium Battery powered, Weed Eater and a Chainsaw. No noise, no fumes, no pollution, a better environment for all.
NaVera Farms maintains and monitors the safest form of artificial lighting to date. Fluorescent bulbs and CFL bulbs are not used in the residence or on the farm.

Electromagnetic Field Management
What is EMF?
Society in general lives in an invisible sea of electromagnetic field radiation. Subtle energies constantly swirl in and around our bodies, whether or not we are aware of them. Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) are energy waves with frequencies below 300 hertz or cycles per second. The electromagnetic fields we encounter daily come from every day things such as power lines, radar and microwave towers, television and computer screens, motors, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, cell phones, electric blankets, house wiring and hundreds of other common electrical devices.
EMF's affect human, animal and plant life.
There is no difference on the effects regardless of physical form; EMF and EMR alter the vibration of all living things.

EdTech / A failed concept
Our farm, property, and residence are committed to a EMF management policy honoring all living organisms.
Cell phones regardless if they are turned off still resonate with EMF. In a metal building, a cell phone field can be magnified up to 10 times.
We mandate a no cell phone policy on this property, business and residence to protect all humans, animals and plant life.
Did you know...when we deliver our products to Native Sun Natural Food Markets, we ensure that no cell phone is used in our vehicles which allows the high nutrient levels of our live food to remain alive.

The detriments of Microwaved food
NaVera Farms has mandated the removal of all Smart Meters for use on our residence and barn from our Public Electricity Company. Smart Meters are a detriment to all living entities due to the EMF percentages produced by this meter reading device which connects to all cell towers.
Respect for the land
We do not burn our household trash or any garbage which includes feed livestock bags.
Breeding for Profit and Property Tax Credit
NaVera Farms will not breed for profit nor for property tax credit or tax shelter. Bringing innocent lives into this world strictly for monetary gain or deductions results in the inhumane, over- population of cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys and many other animal species. Fact; not all farming animals are taken to slaughterhouses and are left without proper food or proper care on many properties. "Look into the eyes of any Angus and tell them that your life and your needs are more important than their life and their needs." This, we, at NaVera Farms will never do.
Did you know that Sunrise and Sunset are natural cycles of the planet?
Originally, farmers rose at sunrise along with all animal and plant life and went to bed at sunset, again, the animal and plant life followed the same actions. Unfortunately, many folks wanted to move to the country but were afraid of human and animal predators and began installing outside lighting. This was similar to lighting posts or outdoor fixtures used in a parking lot or commercial building. This action immediately interfered with the sleeping patterns of the residents on the farm, in the country, as well as the animal and plant life. The normal cycle of light and dark are eliminated thereby altering the health of the humans and the animal and plant life. Basically, no living form gets to rest and rejuvenate and the immune system of the humans are lowered. As for the animal and plant life, they too no longer have a natural and healthy environment and will indeed reflect unhappiness low production, growth and longevity.
At NaVera Farms we honor Sunrise and do not wake up our animals prior. We allow them to wake naturally. At Sunset, all animals prepare themselves for rest and we ensure no exterior lights are on which could effect the wonderful darkness of peace and tranquility allowing the stars to smile above.
Interesting side notes: It is estimated that 72% of all those folks who sell their home in the city and say they want to live in the country...move back to the city or suburban life in less than 36 months. They do not enjoy commuting to the country nor living without the convenience of the modern world.
It is also estimated that 89% of those who move to the country rarely go outdoors, nor create a garden for food, nor enjoy or honor their land, unless you call owning a pool or riding a dirt bike enjoying and honoring the land.

What is meant by Pasture Raised Eggs?
Our free pasture range eggs are eggs produced by hens that are permitted to roam freely in large fields or paddocks on our farm. This is different from factory-farmed - commercially labeled free-range. Birds sold as “free-range” or "Organic" means they have government approved certified access to the outdoors. The door may be open for only five minutes and the eggs still qualify as “free-range.” Apart from the “open door,” no other criteria such as environmental quality, number of birds, or space per bird, are included in the term “free-range.” A government official commented: “Places I’ve visited may have just a gravel yard with no alfalfa or other vegetation.”
This is not the case with our loving hens on NaVera Farms.
·NaVera Farms will continue its unsurpassed commitment to 100% free organic pasture raised hens, managed safe housing, feed organic, soy-free & corn-free live grains, offer pure artesian water, maintain herbal preventions and natural care and loving communication each day for all hens which includes an assistive living quarters and senior housing for those who retire from laying eggs. We will do our best not to alter the natural protective covering on any egg.
All farm, dairy and educational animals will also mirror the same commitments since they share the pastures with the hens. This farm houses over 260 animals in harmony, peace and joy surrounded by a team of dedicated farm assistants and honored volunteers.
More marketing hype and info on the difference of so called Organic, Free Range eggs compared to truly pasture raised eggs sold in America:
Washing eggs in America:
Why do "Real" Pasture Raised, Soy free, GMO free, Organically fed hen eggs cost over 60% more than regular eggs?
Typical hen feed can cost $9-13.00 a bag. Certified Organic, Soy-free GMO free feed is hard to come by and can cost from $26.00 to 45.00 a bag depending on your shipping location.
Florida like many states does not grow Organic feed, Soy-free feed nor GMO free feed so it has to be shipped, usually from family owned grain farmers who then have to send it to a Organic only Mill for mixing etc.
Shipping can cost approx. $18.00 per bag alone. The Farmer also has to maintain a State Registration to sell the feed (eggs.)
Organic feed has a shelf life of approx. 90 days.
Organic method hen farmers also ensure a clean chemical free pasture of at least two acres. NaVera Farms offers over 12 our of 15 acres for our animals. Our water is from an Artesian well. All of our Hens receive proper housing which includes special bedding for nests and floors. Hen houses alone can cost between 1,500 to 4,000 dollars. Add in the cost of a Heritage Hen compared to standard commercial hen and you increase costs up 50% for each hen purchase. Some of our hens are heritage hens as they are a stronger more resilient bird.
Many of our farm animals have been Rescued or Adopted which include:
A assortment of Hens, Ducks, a Goose, Pig, Cow, Bunnies, Quarter Horse, Donkeys, Miniature Ponies and Miniature Donkey, Alpacas a Llama and Nubian Goats!
There are few, if any, Organic raised hen farmers who can actually say they make any profit for this type of commitment to the customer. Add in the cost of marketing and payroll for those farms who have more than six hen houses and over 120 hens and you have basically a farmer who is basically donating their "real," naturally raised eggs.
98% of all so called Organic eggs on the commercial market are far from organic, free ranged or pasture raised on clean, chemical free soil or housed properly with full respect to the animal. http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-food/free-range-organic-meat-myth.aspx
Our hens are treated with the same respect, care and priority as our family members.
A special "Thank you" to our loyal customers who care about their animals’ well-being.
Why is it important to use organic grains?
Organic grains have not been treated with chemical herbicides, insecticides, or fertilizers. The plant has not been exposed to toxic elements that could carry into the grain. There is more microbial life in the soil where the grains are grown.
Organic grains typically have greater nutritional value. Because there is more life in the soil, the plant is better able to uptake and process soil nutrients.
Organic grains are grown from seed that has not been genetically modified.
Did you know...
The term "Organic" replaced the term "Natural" when product companies ignored the true definition of natural.
"Organic" is now becoming a term which holds a better definition for quality and clean food practices, but it too is reliant on the commitment of the producer and not the certification.
